CEO and founder Bart, was spending days trading crypto in 2017. More and more, he noticed fundamental flaws in the exchanges he was using. One of them didn't credit the 4.1 BTC he sent. They didn't respond to his support request and just closed his support ticket after 4 weeks because they were "too busy" to look into it. On another exchange, he had a very large sum of TRON stuck in withdrawal while in the meantime the price was dropping fast. On top of these frustrations of poor support and communication, exchanges got hacked and sometimes went down for several days.
This brought op the question; why isn't there an exchange that:
- Cares about their customers and resolves support tickets
- Is transparent about their operations
- Is designed from the ground up to keep funds safe from hackers or other criminals
- Gives information about what you are trading
- Doesn't feel like a casino
We wanted to do this right. By creating a simple, reliable service to hold and to trade cryptocurrency.
